Do You Think The 3ds Would Be Region Free To Old Ds Games. Is There Even A Way For Them To Block It Because I'm From Australia And I Have Ds Games I Got From Usa? Well?

Since the DS and DSi were both region free, I would be very surprised if the 3DS would introduce region restrictions for DS games.

GBA was region free on the DS (the gameboy series have always been region free).3DSware and VC games probably won't be region free.

I think that if they do allow 3d movies on the 3DS that there's a good chance the system will have region locks. Whether this applies to 3DS games and old software? Only time will tell.

It won't apply to the old software but I don't know about 3DS games themselves I think they will be region locked, region blocking is a software restriction policy, seeing as the OS only reads the ROM from the DS carts I can't see how they would be able to region restrict them unless the system could read the title, but even then thats hit and miss as some developers used the same ROM for all regions hence the multi language options, so I'm going to say the system is region free to DS games. Even online services can be changed to allow you to download DSi/Wii ware thats not in your region, so maybe that could still be achieved by simple region changes.

DSi-specific software (e.g., the new Pokémon games) was region locked. I wonder if they'll stay region locked on the 3DS...?
